Default Gloves, full fingers or cut offs?

What gloves to you prefer? Full fingers or cut offs?

I prefer them with the fingers cut off. Specifically, I use those black "one -size-fits? Naw!" stretch gloves. they work okay for me. I cut the tips off at the the second knuckle. except I completely remove the index from the right one. It makes it easier to tie balloons.
Good luck, and Welcome to the forum!

Default Glad to be here.

Thanks, Glad to be here. I was thinking about cutting off part of the fingers on my one size fits all white gloves (which I love because they really do hug my hands well), but I'm afraid that they will come apart. Should I try and run a seam around the cut off part?

My character is based off of mimes, so I'm a fan of full-fingered white satin gloves.

you can use ...stitch witchery? or fray check. it should help keep them from unraveling.

Some of the clown suppliers sell fingerless gloves. I have a pair which I like to use with some costuming as it complements the rest of the look well. With other costuming items, I prefer to work without gloves at all.

it depends what your doing with your hands... if you plan on balloon twisting you could but some golves that have white rubber beads for grip online at clown supply sites... check www.bubbasikes.com or www.clownantics.com

Fray Check can be found in the sewing section of any craft store or even Wal*Mart. You could also use clear nail polish or clear-drying craft glue.
Stitch Witch is a bit thicker and more trouble; I wouldn't recomend it.

It would depend on what you are doing I use cut offs when twisting or doing magic but full gloves for parades and walkarounds
I also have a pair where one glove is normal and one is 8 ft long so when I take them off it gets a big laugh
