Default Facial hair follow-up

Hi all and many thnaks for all the previous suggestions regarding facial hair. I was at my local costume shop today and I posed the question of clowning and facial hair. The lady there suggested using a water soluble glue stick to "plaster" the hairs together and then proceed with make-up. Anyone here ever hear of such? If not, has anyone here "mistakenly" gotten glue from a glue stick in the hair and can tell me their adventure in removing it? Thanks for any help.

In our clown troupe we have one clown an auguste clown that has a full beard and he incorperated it into his outfit. He is a cowboy clown and he needs his beard for Christmas time as he helps out Santa.

So, I have seen people use a beard and we also have a auguste that has a gotee and is using a Mexican character. It looks nice.
