First time doing a clown face, but not the first time working with face paint. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I have done the alien astronaut and skeleton pirate in the past. I was cosidering using my space camp jumpsuit as part of a costume and become the astroclown.
I had noticed that the eyebrows went up a little too high to move with my expressions. I have heard that green makup and lighting can make a person look sick on film. It is also the color often used for special effects (green screens).

Do you have a clown name? I'm sorry if I already asked you that ... it seems like I did, but I forget lots of things.

Mike,
Ditto on what everyone else said. Is that a star on your cheek peeking out? If so, I wouldn't bother, too much work and you really can't see it with the fabulous yellow wig you've got. Trust me, it will get frustrating to get that star just right every time. I would also recommend a little blush on your cheeks to brighten things up.
Looking good so far!
Miss D.

I like it a lot Mike. I might try a light outside outline in black of the green eyebrows just to see if it balances better with the outlined mouth and makes the brows pop a little more clearly. I also might see how the eyes, themselves, look with mascara. I think that the stars on your cheeks need to be examined over time. They may work for you, but this could also be a case where less will ultimately be more.

Hey Mike... your face looks great. I love the Nose and yellow Wig... I'd say from that hair that we probably use the same hair color.
I agree with what everyone has said makeup wise... however you look a little bit glossy and shiney... so my tip is POWDER POWDER POWDER. Plain baby powder will set your makeup. Trust me that beautiful yellow wig will thank you for it.
Grease makeup is difficult to get out of wigs. You can apply powder with a big makeup brush or powder puff, or you can pour the powder into a tube sock tie it off, and pat it over your face and then brush away the extra with a brush. (I'd suggest standing in the shower to powder if you're going to use the tube sock method.)
Wonderful Job. Where did you find that nose?

If I'm reading you correctly, you've got face-paint on rather than powdered makeup?

Thanks for the great comments everyone. I will try some of them out when I get the chance. The makeup is the clown white greasepaint from Mehron. I have used snazaroo face paints in the past.
I know that a few have asked, but I still don't have a clown name.
I like the whiteface look, but from reading the message board, it seems that whiteface clowns are not always allowed in public buildings. I will likely develop an Aguste clown for use in those occasions.
