Default Newbie saying hello

Hi everyone! I put most of my info in the intro...so I won't bore ya with a long repeat. I'm new to the concept of me actually being a clown...but I've felt like one for years now. I've been working on balloons the last few months in the ice cream store I work just to help the kids have a good time...and I've long wished to know how to juggle, do skits, and magic. I'm hoping to spend a couple years really learning the ropes, then see where it goes from there. After the first year hopefully I'll be living on the land my fiance and I want to buy. Well, look forward to talking to you all. Cat

Welcome! I'm a newbie too (a lot of that going around!). You are already ahead of me, I'm afraid. I am looking into formal training. I don't want to do parties or anything, just do some clown ministry for my church. Best of luck to you!

Hi Stubby (love that name):
I tried the clown alleys listed with COAI already; all the info they had on the "local" alleys was way old, and incorrect. And there's no other clown in my church (I'm a trailblazer!). But thanks anyway, those were good suggestions.

Pinky, Shoot an email to Catherine Hardebeck at catheoh@aol.com Tell her that Dan Langwell suggested you contact her about alleys in your area. She is the one that has been working on updating the alley information. She should be able to help you. If not let me know.
