Hey Razzle, I too say GO FOR IT!!!
Eventhough I now perform without makeup with my one man vaudeville~ish Ukulele totin' character, I credit the Hobo Clown with making me what I am today. I started out in 1990 as an Auguste character but switched to the Hobo character in 1992 as Hayseed the Hobo Clown. The down home, free spiritedness of the Hobo character truly made me feel insync with my Clowning. I met EKJ that year and noticed how folks took to the little hobo tramp character and that inspired me to make the switch. Last Halloween, I couldn't resist dressing up with my daughters and taking them trick or treating (picture attached). It was the first time in 6 years of wearing makeup and it felt good. The Hobo spirit still holds a place in my heart and shines thru in my performance from time to time. One day, I'm sure I will return to portraying that character again. Are there other types of hobos? I imagine he would be happy being a hobo like Red's Freddy the Freeloader. I'm going to have to work on the biography but I'll get back to you on that ... Gee I've never been good with maps so this could be hard....
Also I don't plan on retiring "Razzle-Dazzle" he is my main clown... however Its nice to have other Options and different personalities right Nettie Belle? You know what I mean. Also Nettie... Clown Mart might get another purchase from me... but since this character is stil in the making I might just get some oversized black shoes from Goodwil and then graduate into some clownmart shoes. Ok what about Noses for hobo/tramps? I've seen some wearing the flesh colored nose and then some wearing red... Please educate me on this.

Yes, it's fun to have two characters ... especially when you get a phone call to do a birthday party, turn it down because of a prior commitment, and 5 minutes later, the phone rings wanting the other clown! That's funny.

I use a flesh colored nose for my Hobo Cown Hobo Bob The flesh colored ones are made for the hobo clown or you can go with out a fause nose like red did as Freddie or i also saw some where red ones its all a matter of what you perfer wearing

lol thanks Nettie. RD its cool your makeing a hobo at one of our get togeather i would like all of us that do hobos or tramps to do a hobo tramp like skit something we can all contribute with maybe something like a hobo camp
