Creating a Hobo Character
Ok so for some time now I've been thinking about creating a hobo character.
Tonight Inspiration struck me hard (like an iron skillet ... ouch) ... and well.... I came up with a name ... How's about B.A. Rascal? Let me know what you think... A few more of my quirky sketches and I just might have a face and a potential costume plan for him...

Do it, man!
Razzle, I think it's a great idea. Decide on what type of Hobo you want to be,And start writing a biographical sketch on his personality. Example: Where was he born? How did he become a man of the road? What is his personality ? is he happy being a hobo, lke Freddy the Freeloader. Or is he angry and frustrated; like Otto Grieblings Character?
Go for it. I have been and Auguste and a Whiteface. But, the Hobo's hat fits me juuust fine...... Always, the king of the road. Scruffy

That's a perfect name. I like it! Have you thought about whether you're going to be a Hobo or a Tramp? The difference has been stated on the forum somewhere. I think the Tramp is the clown that works odd jobs while the Hobo doesn't do any work at all. I could be wrong. Plus no one says you have to follow with tradition! I was planning a hobo character but a clown friend of mine said I looked awfully young to be a hobo. You might consider aging yourself a bit in your make up to be more convincing!

From one man of the road to another go for it, you can work when you want to, get free meals and all the pie you can sneak from the window sill, not to mention free transportation if you don't mind shareing the box car with a few of us.
