Question Mark BOOKS on clowning...

So I have seen in several posts where people suggest books and/or other reference materials for clowning - ANY topic - be it creating your character, how to become a clown, twisting, face painting, puppets, etc...

It seems that all this info is scattered throughout the forum, so I would like to create a thread where you can just list your favorite INFO HOTSPOT... (Sorry if this is a duplicate - I must have missed another thread if there is already one like this out there!)

So please list your suggestions for all of us NEWBIES - books, websites, videos, etc...

Thank you for your time and suggestions!

As I mentioned in that thread once you brought it back to the forefront - I was searching in the Newbies section... plus I was searching specifically for books or links, etc... The thread you mention above did not pop as a result for the searches I was doing... But thanks again for bringing it back to the forefront so I Newbies can check it out!

Maybe we should ask the Princess to make it into a sticky. Either that or reformat the layout of the information and add it to that wonderful new article section of the Forum.

We must gather in one thread all the useful information!

They are too many threads that include great links and suggestions and too much search needed.

What if we do an e-library?...You know what I mean huh????

I think that the idea of making an e-library or wiki has already been mentioned, but as you know it needs too much work in order to have a well - organised material.

Additionally I have already said that I can upload ebooks of general magic and illusions.I have two DVDS full of them.Maybe it is a good idea, every user to upload one or two books and make our own library.

In google you can search for the book you want and you might be able read a part of it.Check it out:

Yeah, that was the impulse for the "Amazing Clown Resources Thread." To be a basic online clown reference library. But I wanted to make it really really simple and accessible here on the forum. If you have a resource that is not there, post a link to it in the thread and I will edit the first post in the thread to include it. I check the forum pretty much every day, (actually it is usually several times a day) and will see that there is another post there. I don't want or have the time to read every single post in the forum looking for new links.
