Default Help of Hair Do

Howdy every one..I was hoping you might help me decide on a style and colour of wig. Or even whether a wig is necessary.

I often wear a hat but I a large boof of hair can make the clown.

I wouldn't mind getting a yak wigs if I knew it would suit me. "Creative Clowning" says I should try on lots of different wigs until I find the one that suits me. This is hardly possible when making purchases on line though.

I vary between yellow and blue suits. After I have the hair sorted out I will start making enquiries about the rest of my outfit.

I look forward to hearing you thoughts.

BennyO... or Ben for short.... although I am not that short, I'm actually pretty tall. But that's not a tall order these days...

A wig may or may not be necessary, it is really up to your idea of what you think and feel your clown should look like. For a number of years I did not not wear a wig, mainly because I didn't know any better. When I started to learn more about clowning I chose a short, yellow curly wig. That lasted between six months and a year before I ditched that one and bought a light blue shoulder length straight wig. That lasted about 5 years until I changed my wardrobe and the wig no longer worked with my new outfit. I tested a few and finaly decided that I would perform without a wig again. I have always worn a hat of some type though.

You look cute without a wig. If you choose to go without a wig fluff your hair up a bit with some mousse and a blow dryer.

Acually just over the last day I have been thinking I might just use manga gel or the likes and stick the hair strait out to the sides.

This way I can still do hat tricks etc.. and I have no fear of my hair falling off; I already have enough trouble with my nose.

I've only come back to clowning in the last 10 months. Been wearing a wig and hat all thru the winter. Recently I worked in a REALLY warm room and I've started re-thinking the whole deal. With summer coming, I've decided to get the spray in color gels that they sell at Hot Topics. Just bought a can of green for St Pats day. They have Red and yellow also. My son has used them in his punk rock band and they wash out really easy with shampoo and water. They also have it with control so you can spike it or as you said pullit all off to the sides. what ever you want.

MAKE SURE YOU DONT GET THE PERMANENT TYPE, UNLESS YOU WANT IT TO LAST 6 SHAMPOOS.
