Default Spotty Face

I’m one of those lucky people with really good “baby soft” skin, but all this greasy makeup and chemical based makeup remover is playing havoc with my face! The grease brings out the odd spot and the chemicals are giving me dry patches!!! Any ideas? Think I’m going to have to use the sauna at the gym more often and start exfoliating!

Maybe you should get some spot remover and put it on your face after you take your makeup off.

Have you tried just using mineral oil or baby shampoo as a makeup remover?

Good question Scruffy! That is the key most of the time! As for me the only white I can take is Jim Howle, colors I do Mehron.

I used to break out too, when I followed the directions given me by a seasoned clown friend (male) who said to use paper towels to take off the makeup...when I do that it irritates my skin. So now I use a warm, damp washcloth, and lots of cold cream. After it's all gone, then I use a mild astringent (on a cotton ball) to close the pores back up. I haven't broken out since I started doing it that way. Hope that helps!

I use Baby Oil and Baby whipe towles to remove the makeup and the baby towles help remove all the extra oli on my face. Hope this helps alittle.

Hey, I've got a good idea ... why don't you just leave your makeup ON! Just think how fast you will be able to go to your next gig!

I use olive oil to dissolve the make-up and make it easier to wipe off (typically I use baby wipes). Then I finish off with a make-up remover for sensitive skin.
