I'm going to try and get another face tomorrow morning ish. Let me know which one you like because I have a gig Saturday and I wanted to try a different look.

Another face!

Hi, this look is O.K. for a white face, but an auguste uses the fleshtone color as a base. In addition to my comment earlier I was speaking of your avitar pics. Now that I have been able to view your photo bucket pics, I think you're on the right track. I wouldn't include too much blue and orange as those colors should only be used as small highlights.

Years ago it was tabu for an auguste to use any color but auguste, white, red and black. I know things have gotten more loose, but there are still basic guidelines that should be observed. Just my opinion, not meant as an absollute.

That is a good start. I would say bring the white in to where you have some movement on your face. Make sure the red cheeks are on the apple of your cheeks. And of course you will need to color you lower lip. Your getting a nice even finish on your makeup. Is that the grease paint?

That was just a quick job. I'm unshaved in the pic, and I was going to trim my goatie up a little bit, or maybe just rid of it for about a week ( Until it grows back again). Yeah that's greasepaint, I went out today and purchased an 8 oz tub of mehron clown white. I also got red, blue and orange. I wanted to do my diamond and square, but does anybody have suggestions what else I could do with orange and blue?

You have really good application technique. Your lines a nice a smooth.
Don't try and force the blue and orange into the look if it does not fit for you. Most clowns stick with the basics. There is nothing wrong with adding different colors if it works for you. Just remember you are trying to highlight your expressions and emotions. Make sure you don't end up distracting from them instead.

You don't have to get it all set and done in a day. You will find changes as you go along. We all do.
