Default Sir Toony's new look

I did some shopping on eBay and Sir Toony now has a new tie, vest, pants, and shoes. I think I need to make some adjustments. I need a better way to attach the tie, it seemed to hang too low with the safety pins. I also need to adjust the suspenders on the pants, they kept falling down my arms when I walked around.

Please let me know what you think. Also, any suggestions on accessories that I should get. I have some buttons and patches that I may add and some colorful fabric if I need to add pockets or other extras.

Yeah, I was also thinking that a hat might top it all off nicely.

I like the way you're headed. It is a wonderfully traditional whiteface look that you are developing.

If there is one thing which I'm not certain about it is the dark blue shirt. Actually, it isn't the shirt, itself, or its color, even. But the light bluish vest and tie upon the dark blue shirt seems to not bring out coloration of the vest and tie to the extent that might be possible. I'm not sure what to suggest in its place, but perhaps something with better contrast would be worth trying to see if it makes a difference.

GREAT LOOK! ... Try attaching some snaps to each side of the bowtie and then sewing the other side of the snap in place on the vest where you want it ... It will keep the bowtie in place during your entire performance!

I agree about pockets ... I wish I had more for RD! I'm looking into having some pockets added to my green pants... or just getting new pants all together.

What is it with Northerners that put sugar in cornbread?? Thats not cornbread! When you put sugar in cornbread it becomes CAKE!!!

Put the sugar in the tea! Thats where it belongs! I like my tea to be so sweet that I can pour it on my pancakes if I run out of syrup!

I would say a yellow shirt might be what tim is looking for. And as for pockets...patch pockets would be easy enough to add. That fabric is fron walmart (bubble fabric) so you could get a little and add them on. It would also break up the red a little. Be sure to make the pockets double thickness, Even some interfacing would be good if you can manage it.

A bib may be another option for the attachment of the tie.

I agree with the shirt and hat assessment. I would look for a long sleeve t-shirt. If you tighten the suspenders, and your pants are too short, you can always look at brightly colored soccer socks as another way to liven up the outfit.
