Default Hints for Face painting

I am doing face painting and balloons this weekend.

I am practicing ALOT until then. I have searched

the internet looking for hints on face painting.

There is very little on this subject. Do you know of

any links? Thanks Dar

I think snazaroo if probably one of the most famous brands used. they have info and photo's and some design,
I've used them but I am trying Pardise out now I think I like it a little better.

Snazaroo does have a good website. I'm not crazy about their paint though. I was trying to think of some tips for you. The only things I can come up with at the moment are

1. If you are doing a full face, paint your bad side first. In other words, if you are right handed, paint the left side of the face first because it is more akward, then you can match it easier on the right.

2. Make a up a little book or a poster with some of the faces you are most comfortable painting and let the kids choose from those rather than them sitting down and telling you that they want something that you don't know how to paint.

3. Get good at Spiderman and butterflies. They are the most popular.

4. Usually whatever the birthday child picks, all their friends want it too.

5. Bring lots of baby wipes.

6. Bring extra water to change out your rinse container. I don't know where your event is but sometimes there is no water source. Parents don't like the look of muddy water going on their kids faces.

If I think of anything else, Ill let you know
Hope it's somewhat helpful.
Good luck!

GiGi

tips

1.Only use approved face paints, I go to carnival and see people use markers, kid paint [just because it's non-toxic doesn't mean it should be on the face. Wal-mart carries face paint in the craft section, not as high quality but cheep enough for practices and small groups.

2. Its best to keep one cup for your white and another for other colors. Also put in about half alcohol in with the water to kill germs.
