Hey Der.......BabaLouie!
EBay is the best bet. You might trySOme of the clown conventions too. I bought mine new on ebay from a company called champion attitude boots. I recally they were around a hundred and fifty. Most of the ytime the used ones go for around that same figure... And often they go higher! Here's a link.

In fact they are now eighty bucks.... that's the story of my life... oh, weel. I've been very happy with mine. They can also resole them for about twenty -five dollars.
Good Luck, And please, tell us about your Character!
Scruffy

i decided to go white face. i tried auguste liked it ok but like the smartness of the WF. I decided to do a doctor Character clown. we do alot with kids and at the hospitial in lexington,ky so i thought this would be a good tie in. i use a lot of scrub pants and tops right now and a tye dyed lab coat but the wife is getting a new sewing machine for christmas so so ideas that are floating around will come to light. i am very intrested in competing someday so i am working towards that. i really love what we are doing and i belive that clowns really are Gods funny bone.

Hi. I got my off Ebay too. count myself lucky they cost 100.00 but were custom and write color and size. For guys you can also try www.caboots.com, black and white would also play good with a doclor character.

WELCOME BOBBALOUIE! Keep following the path that feels right to you! God will help show you if stay open to all possibilities. I like the medical direction (oversized needle, thermometer, etc) you are looking into!
I have never tried Ebay, but it sounds like some of our experts here on Clown Forum highly recommned it! It you decide to go "new", let us know. I know of a few good providers! Good luck, God Bless!

Clown Shoes
Im a new clown as well , a idea i have for clown shoes is at your local wal mart or whatever store you like going to, back in the shoe section they have rubber over shoes that your put your real shoes inside and they are protected from rain and mud and stuff , they also look like they would make excellant clown shoes because of the size and width , they are black rubber so you might have to paint them or do whatever to them , but the ones i saw only cost 12-13 $ for a XL pair , the XL makes it look like a actual clown shoes. hope it helps.

Depends on Shoe Size
Because I have small feet to start off with, Converse Tennis Shoes (red), size 15 worked great for me. Got jewels and fabric glue from Wally World and made a great pair of shoes for Ruby. Even put some bells on the laces! Kids and adults too, love them.
