Default Morphing D'lites

I knew they'd be to big, but I wanted them anyway, got them in Friday. They are so neat, I think I'll get a pair of fingerless gloves to make them blend in better. Still not sure how I'm gonna keep them on because I want to use them in my opening, where I have music at the end of my intro., but I'll need to slip them off at the end of that, bandaids didn't work to well as they get in the way. Any suggestions? and any one else considering them, they only come in reqular because of the mech. for the morph, so you can't get them in Jr. which is the size I needed.

You could try a glue dot. D'Lites rock, been using them for a couple years, only had to replace 1 in that amount of time.

Wow, I had never heard of these things before so had to look them up! I can not find a good picture of them in action so I've only seen the box but as I was searching I did find that this company sells Junior D-Lites in case you wanted them!

There is a video on the site of them too but I don't have time to watch it so I will check it out tonight. What a cool prop!

you can get jr in one color, red, blue and I think white, but the morphing has a larger battery. But I wanted the ones that change colors,[like a kid with a new toy] I've used them at a resturant and out doors at church with the older teenage boys they really got into tossing the light and getting the timing down with little stunts [like catching under the leg etc] But I had to go on "thumb search" at least 3 times for them flying off my thumb. Think I'll get a fingerless glove then try the bandaid again so they'll be hid.

A friend of mine took a regular thumbtip and covered it with a white cotten glove pulled tight and glued it in place. He wears white gloves with his character and didn't want to take them off for thumb tip effects. By doing this the weave of the cotton glove was stretched. You might try putting the D'Lite in a glove pulling it as tight as you can and see how well the light shines through. I realize it would not be nearly as bright as otherwise but it is an idea.
Another idea is to remove the mechanism and place it in a junior size thumb tip. The D'lites I have used the mechanism is simply hot glued in place. Toss it in the freezer for awhile and then pop it out of the thumb. Work the glue off and there you go. If it is too big to fit the smaller thumb add new glue and place it back in your original tip.

I haven't tried putting it in a jr. but a dealer I talked with a while back tried for me and stated the battery it required is bigger than the single lights, so I knew they'd be to big,[but I just had to have them] ,but I think I'll try the glove tip.
