Default PB&J Trick

Has anyone seen the Peanut Butter and Jelly trick? Where the jars switch place? The only one I can find has Peter Pan on the label, can you make your own custom labels for this trick? My magic distributor didn't have an answer for me on this one. All help would greatly be appreciated!!

Peter Pan Peanut Butter. Man what a flash. I used to love that stuff in the 1980s. Did you not want the bottle because it sounds fake? Peter Pan peanut butter is (or at least was) real peanut butter and it was great!

We used to eat Peter Pan until the recent problems at ConAgra. I was just wondering with exposure of the trick, if you have to use the labels on the jars you get.

I am getting this trick in this week. I was going to get it through ebay but decided to go through a local magic shop. The version you want has the added bonus. You start by pulling out a loaf of bread. You then pull out 2 slices and place them into a paper lunch sack and hand it to someone in the audience. At the end of the routine you have them open the bag and magically it’s a PB&J sandwich!

I plan on adding music to this routine as I do this with most of my tricks. There is a song called “its peanut butter jelly time” I will do some silly dance and bring out the trick that will be covered by a decorative cloth. I have found that by adding music to your routine it adds fun to it and makes it bigger.

I have not seen other labels preproduced for this trick but I do not see why you could not make your own. I would recommend using a photo quality printer and probably some kind of photoshop program to get a professional look. Although if you use the original labels you can add a bit of patter about the problems and paying attention to parents, and such because sometimes things that used to be good for you are not anymore.

I must live under a rock, I have not heard of the PB&J trick untill just recently, and I have not heard that song either. I'm leading a sheltered life.

Awe, I wish I could be there to copy that!!! That sounds perfect! There is another version of that. Crayons switch colors.
