Default Handheld CO2 Launcher (Confetti Launcher)

I'm in penny pinching mode right now! I have been seeing these handheld co2/confetti launchers but dont' want to pay $50 for one. Does anyone have instructions to build your own? If so I will be forever in your debt! Thanks all!

Be careful building one of your own. I knew of a guy who built one out of PVC. I would hate to see one break.

What what I can gather that is what they are made from, the parts can't cost that much. I've built similar projects, but these have a release mechanism made for small co2 cartridges.

The main thing would be a safe CO2 container. A one shot system like those using the small cartridges used in hand held paint pistols would be more expensive than a system using one of the larger, refillable tanks. You might talk to someone who is familar with repairing paintguns as the gun's trigger mechanism might be able to be modified... Hey you got me thinking, and it hurts!

After searching all night it appears one of the pieces is called (DUH!) a CO2 trigger valve. It appears those are going for $35.

Hey, how about an update on this confetti cannon? I'm curious about how it is going. I might like to make one myself.
