Rise of the Rainbow Umbrella

Hey fellow red nosers.....

I've been sooooo busy lately, but I wanted to stop by and let everyone know about a great idea I had.....

About a year ago I purchased a rainbow beach umbrella, and haven't had a chance to use it. The opportunity has arrived, this coming Saturday.

I have a wedding I'm going to be doing, and I bought a cool iron umbrella base to use for it since the wedding will be on astroturf.

I'm hoping to take pics soon and post for everyone to see......

Well, after a full belly of taquitos I decided the stand needed some color as it's a plain ole gray......

Time to splatter some blue yellow and red on it!!!

Bips, The beach umbrella is a great idea. We use one on occasion. It's a baby blue and has some sort of material on the inside that blocks the heat. It's a Clown saver. I do need to get a base though.

We do make heavy use of an easy up awning. They go up quick. The bad thing is It is a chore to put up by yourself. But a 10X10 area of cool shade feels like an oasis on a hot day. I think they are about eighty dollars at most stores.

Hi,i like your idea and i have a 10 x 10 i painted polka dots on top and the sides a little differant.

I didn't get a chance to use the umbrella unfortunately. It would have worked for this company picnic too on Saturday but oh well, there's always next time....
