Default Ah, bubbles!

I love bubbles. Kids chase them around for a long time and don't get tired of it. I have a bubble machine and it gives off so many! It's great. I love the ideas about chasing the bubbles or trying to go through them without popping one, etc. Good stuff.

Default Bubble fun!

I know that when i blow bubbles, I turn into the pied piper for the chidlren... they follow me EVERYWHERE and giggle and try to catch them... do you really need to do any magic with them? They are magic in themselves...
If you get your hands completely wet you can poke your finger through them... you can make tons of tiny bubbles if you dip a flyswatter in the bubble solution... I have bubbles that smelll ohh sooo goood like bubble gum....
I also find that the kids love blowing bubbles.. or trying to but they blow MUCH too roughly and end up getting quite frustrated though...
I have some ideas on how to teach them to blow softer...
How would YOU guys tell/teach a child to blow bubbles?

p.s. I also always have a necklace with a little heart that is filled with bubble solution and all i do is unscrew the lid and blowwww its great...

Do they actualy work/taste good?

The FAQs page on Zubbles website has not been updated since December 2005 so they may not be readily available yet. They do look interesting though.

If you are happy with palming and missdirection you could pluck a few acrylic balls out of the air and juggle them. if you hit drop one on your fott you could get aoyed with the heavy bubble (acrylic ball) and try and push it back into the bottle.
it would be funny if you accidenly drank the water and started coughing bubbles ala. cartoons.
Wow... if you could rig the bubble machine inside your costume you could eat a bubble. make a belching noise and the have 100s of bubbles pore out of you pants..
Just a few ideas

I have also gotten one acrylic bubble from Larocks, after searching every dollar shop in the area for something suitable.

My first attempt, at plucking one from the air was that the kids accused me of having something in my hand. Country kids can be very astute, but it is a little off putting when someone catches you out.

there is a product sold in some dollar shops that are bubbles which do not pop immediately when touched. However they do leave a sticky visible residue when they do finally pop/deflate.
