Pattycake and I found an old suitcase at a thrift store, I have some plastic paint primer and some spray paint for plastic (Neon Green) to paint it with.
We will put our names on it and probably some vynil stick-ons to decorate it.

I just picked up a Zag (now Stanley) rolling tool box, bigger than anything they make now. It's got two trays inside, and it's going to get polka dots all over the outside. I'll post pictures after I'm done.

So my trunk actually never got painted green or got any of the lettering on it ... I remained white and in my garage untouched... Until today... Now it has a coat of blue spray paint drying on it ... I'm not sure what else I'm going to do with it ... I think I may paint just "Sullivan Theatrics" on the top of it ... That way it can be used by all of my characters... not just the clowny ones.

put a web address or phone number on it. The family will take pics during the party and it will become an advertisment they never throw away. Just that and whatever name will work for every charater. If you want something funny have it on the other side for when you are carrying it in.
I also put the box right up front and let the birthday kid stand on it if they take a group shot. Mine is very stable. And I am right there too. It should be big enough to be read in a snapshot.

Great Ideas Coco... IDK if mine is sturdy enough... but I like the idea of putting my number on it.

OK ... so I had planned on using silver spraypainted contact paper and making letters for my trunk using Microsoft word... I got my letters printed out and everytime I tried cutting them my pattern would slip and I'd wind up with a unperfect letter.
So until I get an exacto blade I'm scrapping that idea... I used the small golden letters that I bought aswell... I'm not happy with them... I thought the letters were just the peel and stick gold letters... Nope... they all had black rectangle backgrounds... so after cutting all of the letters out individually during clown chat I stuck them on... I'm not happy with it but It will do for the time being...
Also note: I lost my 2nd "S" after I cut it out... I still don't know where it is and I've checked everywhere. So The last S in "Theatrics" is actually part of a J and part of a C that I had extra... Talk about improvisation.
The dolly it is sitting on is a "Collapsable Luggage Cart" from Walmart for 20 bucks.
Eventually I'd like to put some shelves inside of it to devide and hold my props.... But thats further down on my "To-Do" list.
Here it is for the time being... I'm not happy with it but it will do fine for tomorrow (I'm doing Relay for Life) and until I can redo it.
