Lightbulb props for a gardening clown

I have a garden theme going with my costume and name and everything. I'm wondering what would be a good puppet or prop for me. I was thinking of a squirrel or something I would normally chase out of my garden. We also like to watch the birds at our feeders. Right now, I'm on the look out for a colorful watering can to carry, but not sure what I could do with it.
With all the great posts I've seen so far, I'm sure you all have some ideas! What do you think? I'd appricate any help.

what comes to my mind is all the feather flower tricks. There are productions from silks, productions from magic wands, wilting flowers, color changing flowers, ect.
And water tricks. lotsa bowl, teapot with color changing water could become a watering can. Even the snow bowl for the end of the show, winter coming.

I've seen some of those, that sounds good. What about walk about stuff? I was thinking about glitter in a watering can and sprinkle it around. I dunno, I'm still thinking.
We are going to the Red Skelton parade of 1000 clowns in Vincennes in June and want something special for that day.

What you need to find is a drooping flower. They make the typical one that that is hand held But, What I am talking about is taller and sits in a vase it has a gimmick in it that as the flower droops you water it with real water and the flower returns to the upright position. A while later the flower droops again and then you can water it some more.

Cheers,
Scruffy

I will look for that!! It sounds cute. I've been to Hank Lee's Magic on line and they have some flower things. I may order a couple of things on Friday. They have a Ribbon to Rose trick. Has anyone tried that one?

Is that the same as the silk to rose? I worked with someone who used that one. He used it in the hospital. I don't think it is big enough for a parade. Cute pocket thing thou.

There is a great flower one in the walk-around thread....

My favorite walkaround is similar to the balloon one mentioned but I carry a vase of flowers instead. In the back of the vase is my supply of green pipecleaners (stems) . I sewed an elastic loop to a bloom to attach to one of my fingers. This assures that the bloom goes with me and frees my grip for grabbing the next stem. By zig-zagging the street I can continuously do this without the upcoming victim seeing what I am doing. I smeel my flower, spot my "love" and go to them to present them with a flower. They hold the stem as I walk away with the bloom.
It is on the third page. This one really appeals to me. The trick is to do it innocently and full of love and then walk off in a daze to the next person paying no mind to the sounds of hilarity behind you.

You could also use a watering can to carry, small items for walkarounds. ex. Sally is very country, and has a lady bug bag, I don't want to over load my pockets and this lets me carry extra stickers, small magic tricks, props etc.

I think you could carry some bike PEDALS with your watering can and pretend to be trying to grow bike PEDALS (petals/flowers) (to go with your name) but they aren't doing too well, and ask them what they think you should do ... you heard that pedals were supposed to come from FLOWERS ... so WHERE ARE THE FLOWERS???? All you can see are the PEDALS!!

And of course you can hand out little bags of "Donut Seeds" (Cheerios or Fruit Loops)!
