I have posted 2 pictures in my Panjo Album. I don't know if they will be of any use to you to try to help me. My bedpan is not assembled yet- but is ready to be. It has no tuning pegs or frets or strings. I play guitar and I strum and dont pick ...so perhaps tuning like a ukulele would be the best for me to use and learn. I feel like this is a little over my head. The canjo- is assembled,but fretless. I used fishing line for the strings, but it stretches too much so I do want to replace them. I used eye screws for tuners and use a nail to turn them. It has 3 strings. I want to be able to use both jos ...but I dont know how to play a dulcimer. It sounds like a lot of fun though and I have a book!  Thank you so much for replying to my post.
