mine wasn't battery operated... you just squeezed him and due to the air going through the throat he squaked...
I guess silence is a virtue... He always whispers to me. And I do get a kick out of telling people why he is so shy... Its because he is afraid of Col. Sanders. ... "The other day I asked Col. Sanders,'Why did the chicken cross the Road?' Col. Sanders, replied saying 'You mean I missed one????'"

I just read in a different thread that somebody was looking for a "clowny wife." Maybe all they need is a life-sized rubber chicken!

If I remember right, it was billed as a "rubber chicken," but it was really made of yellow fabric. If anybody is handy with a sewing machine...

I googled "clown props," and there it was! I wasn't specifically looking for "giant rubber chickens."
Okay, it's not like I was looking for "Kennedy Center National Opera" and found it, but still, I just stumbled across it. Must be these big shoes...
