Rubber Chickens
Good afternoon, Everyone. I'm looking for some top-notch rubber chickens. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. The common oriental trading/I-party chickens are miserable... archie mcphee seems to make a decent one. Anyone have any other suggestions?

One year Santa brought me one of those rubber chickens that emits a piercing, blooding-curdling scream when you squeeze it. (I think he got it at Spencer Gifts). That's my favorite "talking" rubber chicken, but maybe that's not what you want.
I just ran down to the clown room to take inventory of my rubber chickens. Most of them are the kind you can fold up and pull out of your sleeve, but they don't say who their manufacturer is. They seem like pretty well-constructed birds, although I'm not sure what differentiates a cheap Oriental Trading rubber chicken from a top-notch, quality one. I think the ones you get from Clown Antics or any other clown shop are fine.
What are you going to do with it?

Primarily, modify for use as juggling props. I had a great rubber chicken about 10 years ago, hand-painted, with bulging rubber eyes... really nice, but my ferret ate it. Crazy ferret. It disappeared, i found it some months later half-eaten in her cache with various socks and assorted cat crunchies. Wish i had thought to write down the manufacturer, I remember it being molded into the chicken.

Crazy ferret indeed!
Those little squishy rubber chickens might be nice for juggling, although not as visible from a distance.

Loftus manufactures the "Original Rubber Chicken" which sells for about $10. That might be good enough for what you need.

Pickles ... my rubber chicken used to make the same scream however I loaned him to my local theatre for a show and someone did something that silenced him... I wish they hadn't.
