September Alley Skit

At the August clown alley meeting Morgan Bipsy decided she wanted us to volunteer for the monthly skits they are now doing at the beginning of each meeting after the presidents announcements and treasurers reports.

I'm working up something that I hope to have in the next few days to post. Next meeting is 9/11....ugh...

Just a thought... Might you want to try something touching or maybe even poignant in tribute and remembrance?

my initial thought was something that can touch on 9/11 but not dwell on it........i think it would be nice to have alot of balloons and let go at the same time and watch them fly away.....maybe 1 balloon for each person who perished - it would be a very nice thing to do if you could pull it off

I don't think that we will be doing anything to honor those fallen in the horror of 0911, thats just when the next meeting is.

Boy, that would be ALOT of balloons Peaches........

Got any spare cash to help me cover the cost?

yeah it would be alot of balloons but it would be a very nice thing to do i think.....if you buy in bulk its not so bad.....i bought my twisting ballons off of a website i forgot the name of it off the top of my head bu the more balloons you bought, the cheaper it was for each package so that the cost was more bearable....any spare cash for you?? im afraid not.....i just bought an airplane ticket and yeah that was verrrry expensive sorry

Okay, as I was enjoying some pizza at a local retaurant Mrs BIPS came up with what I think will be a great idea.

Here's the premise:

2 rops run the length of our set in the "living room"

The camera filming this will be turned sideways, so we can do some scenes kind of like Batman and Robin series in the 60s when they would climb the building walls with their batropes...

I have got several skit ideas I'm going to post in the next day or two, lemme know what you think, or if you have any great ideas, I'm all clown feet...

LUNCH BREAK

two clowns, 2 ropes, each climbing up at a steady pace...

suddenly, a whistle blows, and the clowns stop, reach into their bags, and remove a bowl, spoon, and a glass with a soda. They begin to eat, and pout the sodas into the glass to drink. Once they're done, they pack up, and keep on moving...
