nope. Should be pretty good. I did a skit years ago, to the tune king of the road (steel guitar instrumental) that involved cooking a hot dog with a blow torch...

Just gave me an idea for an intro to one of my not so famous guitar performances. Approach the mike with a Carol Burnette Tarzan yell and announce the next act from Guitarzan. I can hardly wait to hear the responses. Most know Just Jim is nuttier than 1000 pound fruit cake anyway so it might be just another ho-hum response. But I am going to try it.... Thank-you...

Nope - But I'm sure it could be made into a funny skit. Let us know how it goes.

If you follow through with it, and need instructions for a balloon guitar - let me know and I'll post em here or in your clown mail.

I always had a thought of doing that song. (I asssume we're talking about Gitarzan...the Ray Stevens song)

I imagine it with a Tarzan puppet on one hand and a Jane puppet on the other. And just get a volunteer to do the part of the monkey. (When I point at you just go "hoo hoo hoo") But it could just as easily be done with 2 or 3 other clowns.

My fear in performing this song for kids is it might be a little too off the wall for them...it is a song geared to grownups. Who else is gonna get the line "he swings thru the trees without a trapeze...in his BVDs" (not to mention the line about the pet monkey that likes to get drunk)

Anyway, yeah...put a face to the characters. If I tried to perform it with just me singing the song...I can pretty safely bet I'd get that look from the kids that suggests I just sprouted a second head. (sometimes that look can be a pretty good instructor)
