"Frog in the Throat"
Sorry, guys, that I haven't been on so much. Flu season does a number on my health. *Is in a haz-mat suit*
But, all this free time I have away from school being sick has given me ideas about a skit, that I would like your oppinions on. Note: It's still in idea fase...so, chances are, it'll change.
Now, before I begin, I have a partner as I've meantioned earlier: Ribbit, the 6 *holds up 8 fingers* year-old clown who is Ritz's cousin (in real life, he's so close that he's like an adopted brother to me).
Ribbit lost his frog, and is looking all over for it. So, since I don't talk, I was thinking somehow every time I open my mouth, a "ribbit" comes out. Ribbit thinks I'm talking to him, acts all excited, and I try to tell him no. He doesn't listen. I open my mouth again, he still is just excited that my first word was his name.
After about three times, he's like, "...What do you want?!?!"
Then I explain that I can't help it, pointing at my mouth and throat and such...
Then I don't know what to do next. I was originally thinking about him fake-taking his frog (a bean-bag one) out of my mouth, or coughing it up, or somethign to that degree...but, I'm not sure if that'll scare the kids or not. After all, this is the girl who when she was three though a clown in a circus act really did get his head stuck up the end of a donkey, and was terrified of the though.
Soooo...comments? Suggestions? Advice?
Oh, and before I forget:
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!...early.

What about if Ribbit figures out that you can't talk to him, but then asks if the "cat got your tongue" and you two start playing with that concept?

Hm...Now that you mention it, that WOULD be a nice idea! *thinks about the posibilities* I'd have to discuss it with Ribbit, though.

It was at a circus, and for part of the act, a clown (I don't remember how, but it was part of the skit) got his head stuck up the end of a donkey. He wasn't REALLY up there, he just had his head between it's hind legs, but it terrified me as a 4-year-old, so I wasn't sure if the frog-coming-out-of-someone's-mouth would have the same effect.

Wait, so his head wasn't really in...well, you know. That's good. I jumped at seeing that one!
Yeah, you might want to watch out with the frog actually being in your throat. :?

How about palming the "WORD" frog? Either a long piece if paper with frog written in green, or the word frog cut in foam and painted green.
