Great Chicken Gag !!!!!
Unless they are out of them, Cracker Barrel resturants have a furry covered chicken, that when you lift it up by its neck, it starts gagging-flapping its wings-and moving its feet. (Its about 10 ' high. I put it in a bag and say, "I ordered carryout chicken, but I think they forgot a few details, like cooking it". When you go to set it down, it starts that STUPID chicken dance. Yuo can turn it off or start more patter about the noisy thing. A lot of possibilities. If you pick it up by its neck again, it starts the "choking thing again.......

I've seen it. , Cracker Barrells a good place to look for idea, you can still get metal kazoos from there and they often have unique toy and some times good puppets.

I live near Eden,New York Thats where the Kazoos are made.
They have tours of the factory and you can buy the wooden ones there sometimes. The place is great.

Cracker Barrel
I love Cracker Barrel. Juggling Balls, Toys, Candy, That Annoying triangle peg game that tells you how dumb you are for not being able to leave only one peg all the time....
I bought a couple of puppets there for about $10 each. A cow and pig that moo or oink a couple of songs (Old Macdonald and Camp Town Race I think)...
I'll look for the chicken tomorrow, sounds funny! Maybe I can think of a way to add it to my live chicken routines (yanking the head off illusions and such)
Thanks for the heads up!

We carry the full sized ones at Fun F/X. They run either $7.50 or $7.95 apiece. If you are serious about looking for a gross, or even for a half gross (72) let me know and I will see what price range we might be able to get to.

Most of our suppliers are shut down until after the 2nd of Jan. You probably should remind me again after that.
