Default Absurd Skits

I love absurdities in performances. Stan Laurel did so many in his movies like when he'd throw a stick up in the air and it wouldn't come back down, or when he would pull out a full glass of water from his pocket and ice from the other or when he smoked his hand like a pipe, smoke and all. I love these little tricks and wondered if any of my clown friends knew of similarly absurd skits. I would love to figure out a way to lasso the moon or do something equally as unlikely in a skit. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

have you seen the rope trick, in which the rope is relaxed then when it'e held a certian way it becomes stiff? Some thing along that line could be used to pull all kinds of invisible things like pink elephants, flea etc
