Valentines Day Skit
HELLO JOEY'S ONE AND ALL-- I AM NEW TO THE FORUM, SO I HOPE THIS IS THE PROPER WAY TO GET A RESPONSE. I NEED TO FIND A VALENTINES DAY SKIT FOR A CHURCH BANQUET THAT UTILIZES ONE CLOWN. IN MY 25 YEARS OF CLOWNING AND NUMEROUS SKITS I DON'T HAVE ONE IN THE ARCHIVES. YOU KNOW HOW THESE GIGS GO WHEN THEY SAY "OH AND BY THE WAY-- CAN YOU DO A SKIT FOR US". THE TROUPER I CLAIM TO BE WILL WORK SOMETHING UP--- HOWEVER IT WOULD BE NICE IF SOMEONE WILL HELP THE "OLD MAN" OUT. KEEP SMILIN' SPARKY 'T'

Hi Sparky T. Welcome to the forum..
1st. please look at the left hand side of your keyboard and hit off of the "yell Button" Thanks.
2nd. you could come up with a skit incorperating a sack full of Red Heart Balloons. (Conceal a straight pin into your glove)... As you try to give your hearts away to people, right as they touch the hands of the people recieving them pop the balloon with then hidden pin... Do this several times trying to hand them off to different people.
Get more and more frustrated as each balloon pops. (this can be verbal or silent acting depending on whatever you think your clown would do).. Then once you get to your last heart balloon Come up with an idea. Get down on your knees and pray...
Finally take the last balloon from your bag and hold it up as if you are giving your heart to Jesus and Smile.
I hope this helps
Bump a nose!

There are the tear and restore paper hearts which make for a nice prop that a skit could be built around.
I'm thinking more along the line of a clown with a flower doing "She loves me, she loves me not," sort of thing, though.

A Clown Valentine - a clown skit for a clown troupe, courtesy of
This one is for a troupe.. but think about it.... Involve the audience.. tell them to play a character.. and adlib someof the lines.
Or...
use puppets
or
create balloons
or
just be everyone character in the play yourself...
