A feather duster can be worked into almost anything involving a lady clown or a tramp or hobo clown.

It could even be worked into a bow and arrow gag. The duster has the straight part (the part that has the tip) and the part with the feathers (the shaft with the feathers that help the arrow to fly straight).

Ok, so it's dumb, I just spent 5 days at the circus and I'm running on fumes, so my ideas have been way out there since Saturday night.

Once while greeting people before a fashion, I "dusted the particpants so we "would have a clean show"....

Nuring homes it's a good way to "dust your troubles away"

I have a magic wand that turns into a feather duster. I use it to clean my assistant's (birthday child) hands befrore he starts putting cake ingrediants into dove pan. He then waves magic wand everyone says the magic words (happy birthday) and a foam cake is produced.

A feather duster stikes me as one of those props like a rubber chicken or a squeaky ball where the question is not "What can I do with this?" but "What CAN'T I do with this?"

Juggling and balancing come immediately to mind. Dusting things of cousres espescially things that shouldn't be dusted. Play darts. get a head band and you can make a hat. You can use it to imitate numeorus birds. Make it a microphone, a flower (full of dust to you cough and snezze every time you "smell' it, a boat paddle, a sword, a tickle "torture" device, a conductor baton, guitar or uke, a drum stick, badmitton birdie and on and on and on. Get two, and you can do a vegas fan dance. All the othe ideas are good to!

Don't limit yourself when thinking of ideas. Clowns are not limited by reality or sensibilty or logic. Let your impluses and imagination run wild. Then try things out and see what the reaction is. Then narrow down.
