Default The World's Greatest Spitter

This one is very similar to "The Marksman" and is somewhat
more acceptable to me as a "safety clown"

Needs 2 clowns and a tin pail or bucket. Confetti in the bucket.

The World's Greatest Spitter comes on stage and
announces how good he is, etc. Best aim, farthest
distance, trick shots (spits?) etc.

The assistant has a pail that WGS is going to spit
into.

The assistant holds the pail up chest level, pointed up and towards
the spitter. The spitter announces the type of shot he/she is
going to do -- fast ball. Ptoooey! Plunk! (The assistant thumps
the bottom of the pail to make the Plunk (and in a way the audience
can't see what they are doing).

Curve ball -- Spitter spits (sound effects only, obviously!) and the
assistant follows the curve with his whole head and with the pail. Plunk!

Screw ball --- Same thing only assistant follows the shot in a
circular motion.

Bank shot - bank off something into the pail.

Around the world - spitter spits opposite direction, Assistant turns
and catches it after an appropriate (short) wait.

Lots of ideas here and they are only limited to your imagination.
The assistant gets to do a LOT of acting.

Finale -- spitter misses and hits the assistant, so assistant chases
the spitter around the stage with the pail, going to dump all the
water (spit- ewwwwww) on the spitter. Spitter ducks just as the
confetti from the pail soars over his head and onto the audience.

One thing you can do it you don't want the clean up or can't toss confetti is to glue some of that long [christmas] tinsel so it all comes out looking like it's gonna dump on some one but stays in the bucket,

Thanks, Sapphire Sue -- especially since at
our schools cleanup is a real concern.

It also would not leave any stuff for the kids to play
with and be distracted.
