Phosflorescent sea. (will somebody spell that for me?) water illuminates when it is disturbed due to the micro-organism's in the water.
While at a marina late at night when the conditions of the water were correct. I noticed that by stomping my foot on the floating dock that schools of sardines would dart instantly causing the light to glow. A nearby radio was playing the William Tell Overture so I pretended that I was a conductor, conducting a symphony orchestra and would stomp my feet trying to make some sense of the visual effect to compliment the music. No, I wasn't on drugs! Might have been nice though!
